Do I need a special tyre or adapter to run my modern thru-axle bike on this trainer?

The KICKR SNAP comes right out of the box with a heavy-duty steel quick-release skewer included, which fits standard 130mm or 135mm rim-brake road or older mountain bike dropouts natively. If you are mounting a modern disc-brake superbike that utilizes the standard 12x142mm thru-axle footprint (such as a Pinarello F-series or Specialized Roubaix), you will simply need to add the Wahoo KICKR SNAP Thru-Axle Adapter kit (sold separately).
