With the GX Eagle, SRAM offers a 1x12 groupset with a wide gear ratio at a low price. It adopts numerous technologies from the revolutionary SRAM XX1 Eagle top groupset and, with perfectly coordinated shifting components, ensures extremely high performance and durability in all conditions. The gear range of 520% (cassettes with 10-52 teeth) is on par with 2x drivetrains. However, the 1x12 drivetrain eliminates the additional weight and poorer shifting performance of a front derailleur. The GX Eagle chain was developed specifically for the demands of a 12-speed drivetrain. Thanks to its unique design, the chain is highly wear-resistant. A nickel coating offers high corrosion protection and reduces chain friction. The revised PowerLock chain connector is more durable and even easier to use.
