The Princeton CarbonWorks Wake 6560 Evolution II is a deep-aero wheelset built for flat, fast racing, using a sinusoidal rim profile that alternates between 60mm and 65mm depth — a wave shape designed to shed crosswind gusts more predictably than a flat deep-section rim.

The Evolution II update widens the internal rim bed to 21mm to better suit modern 28-30c tubeless tires, while shaving weight through refined carbon layering despite the wider profile. The rim bed is a solid monocoque carbon construction, so no rim tape is needed for tubeless setup.

A wheelset at this price is worth protecting from shipping-damage risk, and our workshop can mount tubeless tires, install sealant, and fit rotors before handover. Genuine Princeton CarbonWorks stock, already in Kenya.

FAQ

How does the Evolution II differ from the original Wake 6560?

The internal width was widened from 18.5mm to 21mm to better seat modern high-volume 28-30c tubeless tires, and refined carbon layering shaved weight across the rim despite the wider profile — plus smoother wave transitions for cleaner airflow attachment in crosswinds.

Are these delivered ready to ride?

Our workshop can mount tubeless tires, install valves and sealant, and fit your disc rotors before handover, so the wheelset arrives plug-and-play rather than requiring you to source setup components separately.
