FAQ

What makes the "Race RS" model different from a standard P ZERO Race tyre?

The Race RS is Pirelli's specialized racing tyre, engineered with a primary focus on speed and maximum cornering grip. It utilizes the motorsport-adapted SmartEVO DH compound and an optimized, ultra-supple SpeedCORE casing layout that drops rolling resistance significantly compared to the standard casing. It is an uncompromised performance tyre designed to maximize watt-efficiency on high-speed pacelines and technical racing blocks.

Is this 28c tyre compatible with modern hookless carbon wheels?

Yes. The next-generation P ZERO Race RS bead core is fully certified under ETRTO guidelines to pair safely with hookless carbon rims. When installing on a hookless rim platform, always ensure you respect the strict safety threshold and never inflate the tyres past 5.0 bar or 73 PSI, regardless of rider weight, to maintain a safe mechanical boundary line.
