FAQ

How does the "4S" version compare to the standard Pirelli P Zero Race tyre?

This is a targeted choice between race-day speed and robust training reliability. The standard P Zero Race is engineered primarily for pure warm-weather speed and lightweight acceleration. The flagship 4S (Four Season) model modifies the rubber compound and tread layout to handle harsh conditions. By blending the rubber with a higher ratio of SmartNET™ Silica and adding shoulder siping, it stays soft and sticky in cold or wet weather.

Can I safely run this 700x28c tyre on hookless carbon rims?

Yes, absolutely. The aramid folding bead profile on the 28c tubeless-ready version is officially certified and fully hookless compatible. When mounting this tyre to modern hookless carbon wheels (like Princeton CarbonWorks or Zipp systems), always adhere to the maximum international tyre pressure regulation of 73 PSI (5.0 bar) for hookless systems, allowing the tyre casing to deliver a remarkably smooth, puncture-safe ride.
