Is the Manta only for racing?

No. Its aerodynamic shape makes the most sense for fast riding, but it can also be used for everyday road training by riders who prefer an aero helmet.

How should I choose the size?

Use your head circumference rather than your usual clothing size. MET lists S as 52–56cm, M as 56–58cm and L as 58–61cm for the current Manta MIPS.
