FAQ

How is a technical cycling cap supposed to be worn with a helmet?

For maximum comfort and utility, the Gobik Vintage cap should be pulled down firmly over your brow before placing your cycling helmet directly over it. Ensure the internal flatlock seams line up comfortably. You can back out your helmet's micro-adjustment dial by one or two clicks to accommodate the fabric layer. Flip the brim down to shield your eyes from blinding glare or heavy morning rain, or flip it up for an open panoramic line of sight when riding down in the hoods.

Will the rigid brim lose its shape or warp after sweating or machine washing?

No, it is built to endure hard riding conditions. The interior core of the brim utilizes a specialized, highly resilient polymer composite rather than cheap cardboard. This allows the brim to withstand heavy body sweat, sea mist, and repeated cold machine washing cycles without softening, warping, or losing its crisp snap-action flip functionality.
