FAQ

How does the PRO RS1 differ from the older Assioma DUO-Shi framework?

The older DUO-Shi was a conversion spindle that required you to source separate Shimano pedal bodies, disassemble them, and install them onto a wider axle sleeve—which increased the system's Q-factor to 64mm, pushing your feet wider apart. The next-generation PRO RS1 comes fully pre-assembled as a native Shimano SPD-SL pedal out of the box.

Do I need to manually calibrate the pedals before every weekend training ride?

No. The Assioma PRO RS1 features an advanced automatic zero-calibration mechanism that resets itself dynamically while the bike is at rest. You can simply turn on your head unit, clip in, and ride with full confidence that your data streams are perfectly anchored. Manual calibration is only required via the Assioma smartphone app immediately after installing the pedals onto a new set of crank arms to initialize the torque tracking lines.
