FAQ

Does the CYCPLUS T2H require manual spin-down calibration before virtual races?

No, it does not. Unlike older generation wheel-on or belt-driven direct drive smart trainers that require regular warming up and manual spin-down calibrations to account for temperature expansion and tension drifts, the T2H utilizes a permanent magnet electromagnetic arrangement. The power measurement is calculated via direct electrical metrics within the BLDC motor chassis, ensuring the ±1% accuracy threshold remains perfectly stable from the first pedal stroke to the last, completely removing manual calibration.

Can I use this trainer if there is a power outage or if I want to warm up outdoors at a race?

Yes, absolutely. One of the standout features of the T2H platform is its hybrid power architecture. It functions flawlessly in "unplugged mode." As soon as you begin pedaling, the internal brushless generator creates sufficient electrical current to power the internal control board, transmit Bluetooth/ANT+ signals, and apply realistic electromagnetic resistance.
