FAQ

How do I switch the CYCPLUS C3 between Speed and Cadence tracking modes?

Operating the mode configuration is simple and requires no separate software tools. To switch modes, just twist open the rear battery compartment hatch, remove the CR2032 coin battery for exactly three seconds, and slide it back in. An internal LED will blink instantly to confirm the mode selection: a Green flash signifies the sensor is now locked into Cadence Mode, while a Red flash tells you it is tracking Speed.

Can one single C3 sensor measure both speed and cadence at the same time?

No, a single C3 unit can only operate in one active mode at any given moment—either tracking wheel speed or crank arm cadence. If your goal is to log both metrics concurrently during your training intervals, you will want to pick up two separate C3 units. Mount one to your left crank arm configured to Cadence Mode (Green LED) and the second to your front or rear wheel hub set to Speed Mode (Red LED) to unlock complete cockpit telemetry.
