The Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR in 700x32c is a tubeless road tyre built with Continental's BlackChili compound and a Vectran breaker belt for puncture protection, aimed at modern wide-rim setups that favor higher-volume tires.

A 32mm tire lets you run lower pressure than a narrower 25mm or 28mm tire while still rolling efficiently, since the wider contact patch reduces internal deformation friction even at similar pressures — the result is more comfort and grip without giving up speed.

Why Buy Local

Tires are worth having in stock locally so you're not waiting on shipping when you actually need a replacement. Genuine Continental stock, already in Kenya, ready to ship the same day.

FAQ

Why go wider than 25mm or 28mm?

A higher-volume tire lets you run lower pressure while staying compliant over road imperfections, and at a given pressure a 32mm tire has a shorter, wider contact patch that actually reduces internal casing deformation — meaning lower rolling resistance alongside more comfort and grip, not a trade-off against speed.

How much sealant should I use?

For this 700x32c size, 45–60ml of quality tubeless sealant is recommended to seal the bead properly and maintain pressure over long, hot rides.
