FAQ

Why is 700x28c considered the ideal width for modern high-speed road riding?

The 28mm footprint represents the sweet spot for modern road cycling. It provides a larger air chamber than traditional 25mm tyres, allowing you to run lower, more compliant tyre pressures safely without increasing pinch-flat risks. This wider volume creates a shorter, wider contact patch that deforms less as you roll, meaning it actually loses less energy to internal casing friction.

How much tyre sealant should I use during initial installation?

For a high-performance road racing casing like the 700x28c footprint, we highly recommend adding exactly 35ml to 45ml of a liquid latex or synthetic tyre sealant. Because high-performance tubeless casings feature thin, supple walls to keep rolling resistance low, an initial coat of sealant is critical to lock in the bead boundary lines and guarantee pressure stability across long, hot endurance loops.
